I just realised that it’s a leap year this year which really is a symptom of me having my head buried in work and studies and not looking around me more. I wonder how many of us do that too? I mean how many of us get so involved in the details and minutiae of our lives that we forget to take a breath and just look around us at what’s happening for others and in the world.
With my schedule recently, I haven’t been able to see the news much, check in with friends, weed the garden, read any books other required text books or just sit and do nothing for a few minutes. I don’t think I’m any different from many others though. Busy Mum’s with little ones running around, working folks juggling full time work and home life and then of course those of us who juggle all the different parts of our lives. I think being busy is just a symptom of life in the 21st century to be honest. Ok, so with that said, I better get back to the tasks of the day.
