As part of garden renovation which started 2 years ago, we planted a lemon tree. As I sit in my clinic room looking out across the garden, the lemon tree sits in the back garden corner. In 2 years, it’s grown so much and there are two, almost ripe lemons on one of the lower branches as its first gift to us. We’ve been watching those tight little mounds grow and ripen over the last few months and smiling at the new leaves and the growing young sapling thriving in the earth. What a joy it is to give a home to a tree who shares its beauty and bounty with us.
Smiles and blessings, Amethyst
